We were asked to think about what it means to be a veteran and write a letter to a veteran that we don't know. We were supposed to thank the veteran for their service and tell them a little about ourselves. This was a kind gesture to let the veterans who are away from their families know that they are appreciated for what they do.

I used a big vocabulary. I took a lot of time to write this because I wanted to think of the right words.
What was challenging?
It was challenging to find big words.

I am most proud of trying to be neat and finding good words.
What would I do differently next time?
I might reword the "thank you" part so that it is a little different next time.
